The signs of Spring on the farm bring new hope this year after last year’s arctic temperatures. It’s a busy time of planting, grafting, and potting, but also of enjoying the new life and the promise of more to come! Look for updates as our new grafts grow into what we hope will be a nice crop of trees for sale this fall and winter.

Blossoms of all kinds are a welcome sight and include dahlias, lilies, azaleas, and wildflowers and more.

And the garden joins in with new potatoes and green onions coming up.

We are growers of grafted mayhaw trees in East Texas and North Louisiana, and keepers of bees. The wild mayhaw has been a source of berries for foragers for hundreds of years. Grafted varieties are exciting because of their abundant production of fruit and beautiful blossoms that enhance the orchard or your backyard. They are valuable to commercial growers who are enjoying an expanding market for mayhaw products. We also keep bees and have chemical free raw local honey for sale late summer early fall.
